The next two years will see the explosion of stand-up comedy in India. Clubs, performers, properties, festivals, TV shows... I cannot even begin to tell you how many people from the international comedy scene are talking to me about India right now. On the other hand local talent is waiting to be tapped as well. I have already taken the initiative to launch open mic nights to encourage and groom our homegrown performing artists. It is a pleasure and privilege to be involved in the entire spectrum of this explosion - both from the grassroots to the top end and as a performer and a producer.
