One Child

One ChildPapa CJ founded the charity, 'One Child', which provides for the education, health and overall development of children in rural India. He works with a fellow Director to raise awareness and funds for this organisation, whose work covers formal and informal education, child and women's health, microfinance and disaster preparedness. The bulk of One Child's funding comes from Papa CJ's comedy.

Once a year, Papa CJ invites world-class international comedians to perform at the Comedy Store in London in support of the One Child charity. Comedians who have volunteered their time in recent years include Dara O'Briain, Simon Amstell, Stephen K Amos, Andrew Maxwell, Steve Hughes, John Moloney, Hal Cruttenden, Junior Simpson, Glenn Wool, Jo Caulfield, Tim Clark, Andre Vincent, Rob Rouse, Reginald D Hunter, Lucy Porter, Paul Thorne, Sean Meo, Richard Herring and Robin Ince.
