One Child

One ChildPapa CJ founded the charity, 'One Child', which provides for the education, health and overall development of children in rural India. He works with a fellow Director to raise awareness and funds for this organisation, whose work covers formal and informal education, child and women's health, microfinance and disaster preparedness. The bulk of One Child's funding comes from Papa CJ's comedy.

Once a year, Papa CJ invites world-class international comedians to perform at the Comedy Store in London in support of the One Child charity. Great Comedy for a Great Cause 4 is at The Comedy Store in London on Monday 11th May 2009. The stupendous bill this year lives up to the reputation this charity night has established over the last 3 years - you'd be lucky to catch even three of these 10 acts on the same bill! .
